TNAC provides children with art and nature programs, giving them the opportunity to experience enriching extracurricular activities. In our art programs, artists and various media are explored, allowing each student to display his or her natural creativity. Our nature programs teach children in-depth information and fun facts about plants and animals, providing them with a greater appreciation of the world around them.
Thank you to our Volunteers, Donors, and Non-Profit Partners:
The Trumbull Nature and Arts Center touches the lives of thousands of community members through a wide range of programs, activities, and volunteer opportunities.
We offer programs that bring families and the community together for fun and educational experiences. Our hands-on environment and art programs inspire learning, and encourage problem solving and critical thinking.
Our certified badge instructors guide Boy and Girl Scouts toward the requirements needed to earn merit bags, belt loops, pin, and patches. We also assist Eagle Scout candidates by offering opportunities to plan and develop leadership projects
Scout Leaders: Bring your scouts to TNAC to earn their badge requirements!
The Trumbull Nature & Arts Center is run by volunteers. At TNAC, you can enjoy nature's benefits and share them with others. If you or your company are interested in volunteering at TNAC, please send an email to:
Students from area schools come to our beautiful grounds to participate in learning experiences outside the classroom. Hundreds of young visitors each year benefit greatly from the hands-on learning that TNAC provides. From investigating soil with their magnifying glasses, to learning about the habitats of native critters, and discovering the fascinating world of plants, children always remember their school field trips to TNAC.
